A-Place Thematic Videos. A Sense of Place
A collection of five independent but interconnected short videos that creatively present the two years of work on the A-Place project through the variety of themes addressed in different projects.
A Sense of Place explores the meanings we attach to places, and how they can be used to anchor one’s identity. The portraits of neighbourhoods are presented by the people who make them up, through their sense of belonging, togetherness and community. Through a variety of approaches, such as storytelling and co-creation, these videos show the tools used to develop a sense of place in the communities and to increase the bonds between people and spaces.
